Campground’s Christkindlemarket

Campground, a local bar and restaurant features the Christkindlmarket, their take on a European Holiday Market every season. They have storage containers set up outside where local venders sell their goods. There are campfires all around and an outdoor bar selling warm holiday cocktails to keep you warm as you Christmas shop. It makes for the perfect holiday activity- shopping while enjoying great food and drinks.

Strawberry Swing Holiday Market

Strawberry Swing Holiday Market is a fun holiday activity perfect for a girl’s day out, date night, or family activity. You can walk around the European style outdoor Christmas Market and explore the white tents with real garland hanging above and look for holiday gifts, decor, among other goods. There is live music and holiday drinks to enjoy as you shop. The Holiday Market will be going on most weekend from Thanksgiving weekend up until the week before Christmas at the City Market (our farmer’s market area) in Kansas City.

Shop Local KC

Shop Local KC is the product of Strawberry Swing- a local collective of local makers. Local KC is a store opened by Strawberry Swing and has the goods of all local Kansas City makers. It has a large selection of gorgeous handmade products and is the perfect place to find a present- especially for the ladies in your lives with girly choices.

Made in KC

Made in KC has several locations around the city and is a one stop shop for all your shopping needs. Made in KC has almost anything you are looking for and for anyone on your list. They have the store set up with different areas for each local vender and you can shop around all the areas and buy in one place. They carry liquor, beer, candles, jewelry, clothing, home decor, food, and more! If you go to the Plaza location you can even order food, ice cream, or coffee! You will get lost in the wonderland of shopping that is Made in KC and it is especially festive during the holiday season.

Seven Swans Gift and Goods

Seven Swans Gifts and Goods is attached to the Seven Swans Creperie which you must try and makes for a perfect pre shopping meal! After you grab your delicious crepe and mimosa head to the gift shop next door. It is a little quaint little shop that has the most darling little gifts. They also have adorable little baby clothes, children’s books, cozy mittens, cards, candles, socks, and other sweet finds.

Bunker

Bunker is a hip local store with clothing- many made locally or with KC sayings on them, as well as funny and unique gifts, glassware, candles, and more. This is a great pick for the hip and trendy person on your list.

Mid Coast Modern

Mid Coast Modern has local goods, home decor, handmade soaps, jewelry, decor with a mid century flair, cocktail kits and more. This is a great pic for anyone on your list with the great selections of goods to choose from.

Westside Storey

Westside Storey has local good from candles, cocktail mixers, stickers, vintage clothes and Chiefs clothing vintage and new, among other goods. You will be sure to find unique presents here.

Fetch

Fetch is one of our favorite stops in Kansas City for unique goods. They have progressive leaning gifts and decor, candles, tons of vintage clothing, National Park themed products, cards, glassware, and other unique vintage and locally made products. This is such a fun store, perfect for a unique find.
