Ultimate Victoria BC Breweries & Beer Halls Guide
Victoria, BC has the best local craft breweries. Each one has more character than the last. They have the most wonderful craft beer with great food options too! We fell in love with Victoria, BC Breweries and craft beer scene. After visiting Victoria and drinking their wonderful craft beer here are some of our favorites!
Whistle Buoy Brewery
Whistle Buoy was my favorite brewery in Victoria and top favorite ever! The staff was so very friendly and gave us great recommendations for exploring Victoria and what beer to try. We got a flight and LOVED every beer which I have to say doesn’t happen very often. They were all so well made with rich flavor. And the ambiance is so fun. It is all nautical theme with buoys of course and made to look like you are in a ship or submarine. It was so fun. It is also located in Market Square which is a great area with lots of local restaurants and shops to explore.

The Drake Eatery
Now The Drake isn’t technically a brewery but is a craft beer pub and it has the most charming pub character you want. It is cozy, welcoming, and had great beer. It also has amazing pretzels, and other great food options from sandwiches, cheeseboards, and much more. The people here were once again so kind and welcoming. It is a perfect place to set up and enjoy some great local Victoria and Canadian beers while enjoy great food. This is a great stop for a cold or rainy day because it is just so cozy but a must on any day. The Drake is also located in the Market Square and is very close to Whistle Buoy.

Driftwood Brewery
The Driftwood Brewery is another great brewery with an eclectic ocean ambiance and quality craft beer. Driftwood has a really neat indoor space with a lifesize coral ocean mural and a wonderful outdoor patio as well. They have a small but delicious menu consisting of dumplings, bao beer, and wings. Awww dumplings and beer, what a perfect combo.

Swift Brewery & Good Times
If you love all things retro and craft beer like us, Swift Brewery & Good Times is the place for you! It is like going to a house party in the 70’s with groovy vibes. From funky furniture, wallpaper, lava lamps, retro fridges, and even 70’s styled can designs you are sure to love Swift Brewery & Good Times. They have great beer and even some fun cocktails. From fruit wheats, pale ales, IPA’s, lagers, and more there is something for every beer lover. You can order food from Craft Beer Market here which has a great menu with a ton of options.
Craft Beer Market
Craft Beer Market was really poppin, it has a ton of craft beer options and a great variety of food too! They have a great outdoor patio located near the harbor with great views of the water, making it the perfect outdoor space to enjoy some great beer and food. They also have a large indoor space as well for rainy or cold days. There are also great crafted cocktails if you craving something a bit stronger.

Lighthouse Brewery
Lighthouse Brewery is a small but cute local brewery with a lovely patio. They offer a good variety in beer from amber ales, IPAs, pilsners, and a coffee lager there are lots of great picks. They also offer a menu that is vegan friendly with vegan empanadas, and vegan white bean deep but also offer sausage rolls, and queso too!
