Korea’s capital, Seoul, is the perfect descriptor. Soul. Korea has it. Metropolitan but unapologetically unpretentious, South Korea packs in a ton of the best of travel in a small country: incredible food, chaotic shopping districts, bizarre nightlife, kind people, and basically too much to experience in one trip. 

Maybe the best part: it’s extremely budget friendly. With loads of free activities and experiences, plus cheap food and drink, you can do much more here than many other places, for far less. And perhaps as crazy as it sounds, the best of Seoul might just be sitting on a plastic chair on the street with a bottle of soju and a Korean BBQ, watching the world go by.
