Hello! We are Ashlea and Derek! We are an engaged couple from Kansas City, Missouri who love travel and new adventures! 

We love traveling to new places, enjoying the outdoors, fun cocktails, and spending time with our crazy cat, Luna. 

We are currently working full time- I am a first grade teacher and Derek works in marketing. We travel as often as possible and when we’re not traveling were dreaming and planning our next adventure! 

We will be getting married in June 2022 (we have postponed several times and can’t wait!) and will set off on a year of traveling around the world! We’re very excited to take the plunge into full time travel and are thrilled to share our journey and what we learn along the way with you. 

We are committed to traveling ethically and sustainably and leave the places we visit better than we found them and continue to educate ourselves to the needs and cultures of the communities we visit. We are passionate about doing so and this will be a huge focus in our blog.
