Christmas Pop Up Bars in Kansas City
Did you know Kansas City is a BIG cocktail city? If you’re not from here, you might be surprised to learn it has a rich history in all things adult beverages. And no surprise we have the BEST Christmas Pop Up Bars in Kansas City.
Kansas City is known as the city where Prohibition never existed due to the power the mob had. The town scoffed at any such rule outlawing alcohol. They just said “nope” and went about their merry way.
Over its storied history, Kansas City has been called “Sin City” and the “Paris of the Plains”, and is home to areas such as “The wettest block in the world” and the nicknames and pseudonyms go on and on.
During the prohibition and beyond, KC has been home to countless distilleries, and breweries, and a legendary culture of scofflaws and scoundrels and sultrous partiers. The Omaha World Herald once wrote, “If you want to see some sin, forget about Paris and go to Kansas City”.
Anyhow I say this to stress we know how to make a damn good cocktail. Throw some jingle bells and ho ho hos, and you’re ready to put the cheer in cheers!
And of course, KC LOVES holiday festivities and any opportunity to do a pop-up market or a celebration. So, this combo of stellar cocktails and holiday spirit makes for one of the best holiday bar scenes you’ll find. So make the trip up to KC this holiday season for our Holiday Bar Scene.

Think holiday decor from floor to ceiling from the vintage santas and reindeer hanging from above, Christmas lights galore, festive mugs, and Christmas sweaters all around.
The drinks are great here and all made with quality ingredients. They have great snacks here too- you have to try the cheese tots (the cheese is inside), they are wonderful.
You can make reservations online (can not call in) or there will be available walk ins this year. The kicker with reservations is they are expensive! They will be 15-25 per seat. It is insane but also so worth it! I will be taking the gamble with walk in’s this year due to the price tag but for piece of mind reservation is the way to go.
