Hotels in Salem Massachusetts for Halloween

After hours of research and visiting Salem myself and exploring the charming area myself I have the Ultimate Guide to the Best Salem Massachusetts Halloween Hotels and accommodations.

When booking hotels and accommodations in Salem MA for Halloween be sure to book far in advance. Most accommodations will fill up quickly in October since this time is the busiest time of year to visit Salem.

There are lots of hotels and accommodations to chose from in Salem. You can stay in, vrbo, hotels, bed and breakfast, and even campsites. There are options for every budget and need.

I would highly recommend accommodations and hotels in Salem MA for the Halloween season to be walking or a short drive to Salem. This will help you to enjoy all the events, shops, and Salem MA Halloween fun.

Prices tend to be higher in October and fill up quickly. Be prepared to book early. Start looking 5-6 months out to get better rates and get a hotel or accommodation in Salem. Waiting a month out will most likely give you little to no options or excessively high prices.

Here are my picks for rentals, hotels, and even camp sites.

Camping Sites in Salem, MA

Camping is the cheapest accommodations in Salem. The Salem Campsite is located at Winter Island Park which is on the Salem Wharf. It is a short distance from downtown and even has a trolley stop you can hop on. The campsite offers RV and tent camping.

Costs: 35.00 a night for tent camping, and 42-50.00 a night for RVs.

Hampton Inn Salem Boston

Hampton Inn is another option that is in a great location with all the main attractions being a 5-10 minute walk. The rooms are clean and they even have free breakfast in the mornings. Although this is not a local option, if possible I would recommend booking local to support the local community. Sometimes that is not always possible and if not this is a great option.

The Coach House is a beautiful Victorian house turned boutique hotel and it is soo lovely! It is artfully decorated and just so nice. It is a little removed from downtown but still a very short drive of 2 minutes to downtown Salem.
