Ultimate Nago Pineapple Park Guide

Nago, Pineapple Park, Okinawa

Is Nago Pineapple Park Worth it?

Yes, yes, and yes! Nago Pineapple Park is worth it! It is so fun- it’ll leave you nostalgic for the 90’s theme parks of your childhood or of your dreams if you have not experienced the wonder of a slightly tacky fun and happy wonderland. This is what you are stepping into- a wonderland of pineapples and garden galore.

So even if the theme park is not your cup of tea the gardens will blow you away with their beauty. Read on to learn all about why you must go to Nago Pineapple Parks.

Pineapples Galore

There are endless pineapple fields with sweet baby pineapples growing- all that you get to see while riding on an automatic driving Pineapple Cart. You just sit back and listen to a delightful pineapple cart speak to you all about pineapples and give you a short tour of Nago Pineapple Park. At the end of the tour you will have the option to take a picture and buy a pineapple themed picture with a paper frame. After your tour you are free to explore the paradise you find yourself in.

Nago Botantical Garden

I’m a sucker for a garden and this one is gorgeous. The Nago Pineapple Park botanical garden will make you believe you are in a jungle with the variety of plants all around you and a variety of pineapple plants as well.

There are tons of photo ops throughout the garden to stop and snap a picture as well.

Dinosaurs in Nago

Yep, that’s right there is a dinosaur adventure tour- you can walk around and see dinosaurs and even pose in cracked open dinosaur eggs. Derek loved doing this and so did I!

Nago Pineapple Park Shopping

Looking for a fun souvenir to remember Pineapple Park forever? No problem you can go to the store to get anything pineapple you would want- from pineapple wine, jam, fresh pineapples to baked pineapple snacks, pineapple stuffed animals, among other goods! We went for the pineapple wine and jam to bring home for our family and friends- it was a hit!

I loved Pineapple Park and know you will too! I would give yourselves around two hours at pineapple park- you could easily spend longer or get through in an hour as well depending how much you want to do. I think we spent around 2-3 hours and it was perfect!

Okay so all the logistics. Pineapple Park is about 1.5-2 hours from Naha (where I would recommend you base yourself). You can take a taxi or bus to Nago Pineapple Park.
